MEDITERRANEAN SEA (April 1, 2014) - Sonar Technician (Surface) 3rd Class Michael Jones, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Ramage (DDG 61), guides the tactical towed array sonar as it is deployed through a fairlead door during a streaming evolution in support of exercise Noble Dina, an annual multi-national training exercise conducted with the Hellenic and Israeli navies. Ramage, homeported in Norfolk, Va., is on a scheduled deployment supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
