テート・ギャラリーのインスタグラム(tate) - 6月8日 04時38分#WorkoftheWeek is Ibrahim El-Salahi's Reborn Sounds of Childhood Dreams I 1961–5 💭As one of the founders of the Khartoum School, El-Salahi developed a new visual vocabulary comprising simple forms, strong lines and sombre colours inspired by his environment and rooted in Arabic and African forms and iconography. In this work he looks to capture the fleeting moments when memory and dreams, past and present, collide.Click the link in our bio to hear more from the artist.[BIHAKUEN]UVシールド(UVShield)>> 飲む日焼け止め!「UVシールド」を購入する
テート・ギャラリーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (テート・ギャラリーInstagram)「Cosy Sunday vibes with Ethel Sands' domestic scenes. 🛋️ The Chintz Couch 1910–1 ☕ Tea with Sickert 1911–12 🌷 Flowers in a Jug 1920s Sands enjoyed an extremely full social life as a young woman and into old age, and was known as one of the most important hostesses in English society. She opened her doors and created a warm atmosphere for artists and writers to meet, chat and exchange ideas. After her death in 1962, Sands left behind a wealth of correspondence now kept in the Tate Archive, containing letters from important figures of the day—many of whom probably enjoyed a cup of tea on this couch. #EthelSands' chintz couch is on free display at Tate Britain.」5月14日 18時52分 - tate
テート・ギャラリーのインスタグラム(tate) - 3月24日 03時17分‘I did not intend to become an abstract painter; I was working very conventionally with forms and values. But flying by plane transformed me… A city could be held in your hand: the world seen from above.' - Fahrelnissa Zeid (1901-1991)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Turkish-born artist Fahrelnissa Zeid is best known for her monumental abstract paintings with kaleidoscopic patterns. She produced her large-scale works by tacking canvas across the walls of her studio, and standing on pieces of studio furniture.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀'Often, I am aware of what I have painted only when the canvas is at last finished.'[BIHAKUEN]UVシールド(UVShield)>> 飲む日焼け止め!「UVシールド」を購入する
テート・ギャラリーのインスタグラム(tate) - 2月21日 19時59分Lubaina Himid’s large installation is a celebration of relationships between women. Two Black women run barefoot along a beach, holding their hands high in the air as if about to twirl joyfully. Appearing to trample two white men trapped in the sand behind them, they run towards the future, holding the leads of a pack of snarling dogs. Himid wrote about this work: ‘Made on a “theatre curtain”, it precedes the drama and romance of running away... without depicting the reality of running away or the consciousness of a sudden departure on those left behind.’Lubaina Himid, Freedom and Change 1984 💕[BIHAKUEN]UVシールド(UVShield)>> 飲む日焼け止め!「UVシールド」を購入する
