- We will probably have heavy rain this weekend but I think it will be fine, thanks.
I've been busy studying my JLPT textbooks so I haven't had as much time to use japaneseclassSeptember 15, 2017 at 9:09am - Can you recommend me some JLPT books? I'll take a exam in December but everything seems ambiguous. Thanks.September 24, 2017 at 9:10am
- Which level are you taking?
I have passed every every level except N1.
What I like to do first is the 日本語総まとめ series because the explanations are simple and in English. Then I go through the 新完全マスター series because those tend to be more difficult and are completely in Japanese, no explanations in your native language like Nihongo Sou matome.
But I didn't use those textbooks until N3. The only books that were really helpful and necessary for N5 and N4 were the Genki textbooks. Of course I was using my favorite book, Heisig's Remembering The Kanji along with those but it isn't necessary unless you want to know the meaning, the radicals, and how to write all 2000+ of the daily use kanji, 常用漢字September 24, 2017 at 11:02am - Thank you so much, I tried with Nihongo Sou matome and as like you said I feel it seems easier when compare with Shinkansen.
I love Kanji and I spent so much time on it so I can guess the meaning, and know how to write the word in correct order but I have a lot of trouble with using correct words in sentences, especially when the words write in hiragana. I'd appreciate it if you can recommend some books about this subject. I failed my N2 test in July so I have to try my best in December but everything seems so difficult.

- I actually had a bit of a problem with that myself and also spent A LOT of time just doing kanji. I'm not sure about textbooks for it. But what I do is everyday I make a list of difficult words I see while reading or hear in conversations. I have four columns on the page, one for English, one for hiragana, one for an example sentence and one for the kanji. The English or hiragana always comes first so I'm memorizing it in such a way that I can recognize the word while listening without having to know the kanji.
For words that are difficult I write them out multiple times at the end of the day and also at later times when I go back through my notebook to review.September 26, 2017 at 7:26am - I just realized to mention nhk news. If you don't already use the website I would go to NHK easy and read as many articles as you can. And when you find one your are especially interested in, click on the link for the real article and read that and watch the video if it has one.

- Thank you for your help.
INHK easy is my favorite website. I usually practise reading with it.September 26, 2017 at 8:17pm
