Here's the main one I sometimes use:
    http://www.ebookjapan.jp

It's a completely legit Japanese company based in Japan. They are primarily selling manga, which they don't block people outside Japan doing at all. (I've paid for some here in the UK and it worked fine.) However, they have quite a lot of manga volumes you can read completely free. Even the non-free ones virtually all let you read the first 10~40 pages for free of each volume. Has pretty much every manga on there. There aren't many series I haven't found.

They even do limited time offers where they give away some manga volumes to download and own forever for free. Each week they offer different ones. You can literally just add all of them to your cart and buy them for 0円, then download the ones you want later on. I've gained over 1,000 volumes doing this!! All to legally own and keep forever, completely free! :P

And they have apps for PC, Mac, Android, and iOS to read the manga in and to access your "bookshelf" of manga you've purchased to download and read them offline. ^^

Wow, you're well informed. Thank you very much for sharing such amazing information!

Now i just need to be able to understand anything, and hope that by the time i am able, the site is still going on lol.

If anyone is looking for a specific manga on there but can't find it, or if you're just having trouble navigating the site, just ask. If you post a manga series you want to read on there, I'll try to find it and post a link to take you directly to the first page of the manga. ^^

--- Useful words to look out for ---
・無料 (むりょう) = "free" (no price; 0 yen)
    ・無料で読む = "read for free"
・立ち読み (たちよみ) = "preview" (read first 10~50 pages for free)
    ・立読 = 立ち読み
    ・ジャンル = "genre"

    ありがとう mog86uk-さん
    That hint helps a lot!
  • Ludovicus
Yeah, those hints helped a really lot!
I managed to buy a few random manga for free, and even to somehow managed to download and install the supposedly computer app. Now my problem is that the PC app won't work lol. At least I managed to find the phone app, which is more than enough, as i intended on trying to read them on the phone anyway =D

    Thank you very much again!

@Ludovicus, I use the PC app on my computer (Windows 10). Luckily it works perfectly fine for me. Although, if you're on a PC, simply going onto your "本棚" (ほんだな, bookshelf) within the website is almost just as good as using the app anyway.

The mobile app works great for me on my Android phone. Not sure what the iOS version is like. Hopefully you won't have any problems with whichever one you are using. ^^

As it sounds like you've made an account on there, you can start doing what I do to build up a massive collection of manga volumes to own for free and leave them in your cloud 本棚 — to one day download or read online whenever you want.

Each week I go on the site, log in, and click "無料の本を探す" (search for free books) on the left side of the page, then click "会員限定無料まんが" (manga being given away free for a limited time to members). This section changes each week. The volumes marked "new" have been added within the last week, and they stay on the list for a few weeks before being removed.

To avoid seeing stuff from *certain* other genres, I filter this list by selecting a ジャンル I'm interested in ("少年マンガ", "青年マンガ", and occasionally "少女マンガ"). Then, if it is marked "new", I click "カゴに追加" (add to cart) on every volume I'm at least vaguely interested in. Some weeks I end up adding as many as 50 volumes to cart this way! Then I checkout, and all of them get instantly added to my bookshelf permanently for 0 yen. :D

Link to that part of the site I explained:

Here are some volumes of manga I enjoyed the anime for which they're giving away free at the moment:
    - Noragami (vol. 1-3); DAYS (vol. 1-3); Mysterious Girlfriend X (vol. 1-2); Peach Girl (vol. 1-3);...

A few of the cool free volumes I obtained this way in the past:
    - Fairy Tail; Attack On Titan; Initial D; Parasyte; Great Teacher Onizuka; Flowers of Evil; Ajin; Ghost In The Shell;...

Here's a useful link to see all the free "STARTER BOOKS" on the site. If this link doesn't work properly, basically just type STARTER BOOK in the search field on the site:

    https://www.ebookjapan.jp/ebj/search_book/?q=STARTER+BOOK

The starter books are special, permanently free introductory volumes for the big name shōnen manga series:
    - Dragonball (x2), Naruto (x3), Bleach (x2), One Piece (x3), Hunter X Hunter (x3), Ruroni Kenshin (x2), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Kuroko no Basket (x2), Rozen Maiden, ...

Thank you for your tips, i ended up buying a few hundred (everything thas was available) free mangas lol. There even were a few that i previously knew, such as Noragami, Nanatsu No Taizai, and a few others. Interestingly, some of them seem to have furigana, which might help me in my attempts to read them.

My favorite comic’s name is ″kiss×sis″, which is too interesting for me to laugh and I want the 19th volume of it. I'm looking forward to buy the comic and want to read it as soon as possible.
By the way, what do you like any kind of the comic?
  • Elsaria
@mog86uk what about shipping fees? I wanted to buy some free manga too but I'm afraid to know how much the shipping fees will be..
  • JosephRabaja
I'm afraid you can't buy free manga if it's free.
  • Ludovicus
Well, idk if they sell actual physical copies, but the free ones you can get are all digital versions. So, you might be able to read the ones you actually pay for on the website itself aswell idk
  • Elsaria
Oh, I see, when mog86uk said "They even do limited time offers where they give away some manga volumes to download and own forever for free" I thought he was talking about physical copies too ahah thanks for answering :)
