    Toes aren't named in Engilsh (beside "big toe" and "little toes"), since none of the toes have specific uses to be named for (unlike the fingers). I'm pretty sure they're not named in Japanese either.

    At least I doubt the little toe next to the big toe would have the same name in Japanese as used for index finger...

    Index finger in Japanese is 人差し指(ひとさしゆび), basically meaning: the finger you use to point at people to indicate which person you mean. Rather hard to use that specific toe for this! :P

    Surely not English. It would be funny to call a toe the "ring toe" -- as in the toe you put your wedding ring on! :D
