What does こい? I have gotten translation like come, carp or dark. Which ones right, or does the word have a whole other translation.

All of those different words are spelt こい if you're only using hiragana to write them. Each of them have different kanji though:

来い (こい) "come" [imperative form of 来る (くる); irregular verb]
鯉 (こい) "carp" [this kanji isn't usually used; noun]
濃い (こい) "dark, strong, thick, deep" (flavours, colours,...) [adjective]
    恋 (こい) "love" (romantic) [noun]
故意 (こい) "intention, purpose, bad faith; mens rea" [noun]
    ...

Actually, rather than either kanji (鯉) or hiragana (こい), carp is probably most often spelt in katakana: コイ

The meaning of the word こい depends on the concept you are using it in? So I can use the word こい if I am describing some thing as dark or moist or if I am telling someone to come?

i think that if you write the concept is clear by the kanji you use. if you speak then depends of the context.
