- -- If you've answered any question correctly 29 times, for that 30th time and onwards the base EXP of that question changes to 1 EXP and combo bonus is capped to 1x EXP (i.e. no combo bonus).
I've answered every single Lv.1 to 8 question correctly over 29 times. So I always get 1 EXP on all of the Practice questions. Even in the Readings quizzes where questions give 7 EXP, half of the questions I've answered correctly over 29 times too.
So I know this pain. ;_;
-- Base EXP of the various questions:
Hiragana Practice = 1 EXP
Katakana Practice = 1 EXP
Lv.1 Vocab = 6 EXP; Kanji = 7 EXP
Lv.2 Vocab = 7 EXP; Kanji = 8 EXP
Lv.3 Vocab = 8 EXP; Kanji = 9 EXP
Lv.4 Vocab = 9 EXP; Kanji = 10 EXP
Lv.5 Vocab = 10 EXP; Kanji = 11 EXP
Lv.6 Vocab = 11 EXP; Kanji = 12 EXP
Lv.7 Vocab = 12 EXP; Kanji = 13 EXP
Lv.8 Vocab = 13 EXP; Kanji = 14 EXP
Readings Quiz = 7 EXP
Notes Quiz = 1 EXP
-- When you answer any question wrong, the amount it subtracts from your score is the base EXP of that question multiplied by two.
Examples:
・Answer a Hiragana Practice question wrong = lose 2 EXP.
・Answer a Readings Quiz question wrong = lose 14 EXP.
・Answer a Lv.1 Vocabulary question wrong = lose 12 EXP.
・Answer a Lv.4 Kanji question wrong = lose 20 EXP.
・Answer a Lv.8 Kanji question wrong = lose 28 EXP!
It's pretty brutal to answer 28 questions correctly in row, only being given 1 EXP for each correct question... and then accidentally slip, click a wrong answer on a level 8 question, get minus 28 EXP, and be back on zero again instantly. ^^;
@JACKBOSMA, I always see your score in the minus. It's easy for people to understand why when they see how the EXP system works later for people who have been here a long time.
Eventually your total EXP will end up all the way back to 0 EXP! :PJanuary 21, 2019 at 7:36am
