Aliasing is that sawtooth effect in straight lines and strange patterns (moiré) in surfaces with periodic elements.
Probably, it's due to some size scaling or resolution change. Some of your pictures seem to be correctly scaled, but some show heavy aliasing.
In the example photo beeant605649.jpg (there are more), look at the balconies or the cranes. They have sawtooth effect.
And look at the buildings over the horizon. They show strange window patterns. That's aliasing, too.
