Hi! You'll be glad to know that Google Translator has now a Japanese voice feature. Maybe you can use it instead of the current system.
For now, this new voice system doesn't allow very long sentences, but it's good for vocabulary and short sentences (to ~30 words).
If it works like the English voice in EnglishClass, we'll get much faster response and a working voice system for any browser (including Chrome / Safari).

I just tried it. but somehow it doesnt work... have you tried it?

No, I have not tried it. I don't know the Google's API. I do know you're able to use the API to get the links to the English mp3 files it generates, but I don't know how. The Google's page works, so I assumed they just added the Japanese voice to their API, and that you would be able to do the same with the Japanese files as you do with the English ones.
You can capture the Google's Japanese / English / Whatever generated mp3's with FlashGot (for example), so maybe you're doing something wrong. Or maybe the Google's API is not ready yet to use their own new Japanese voice sounds, but I don't think so.
Sorry, as usual, I'm useless... No, wait! I can do one thing:

Dear Santa, I'd like Beeant could make a perfect JCJP... XD
