I've found a bug that I don't know if you know about. I'm using Firefox 1.0.6 (it's a school computer; can't upgrade) on Mac OS 10.4.11. In the random practice, it will load correctly, and then simply keep repeating the same question and options over and over. It didn't initially do this; it was only after I got one wrong. I changed settings, and it gave me a new question, but then kept repeating that one.

I don't know if you can do anything about the bug, as it's probably the school's browser, but I wanted to let you know.

That sounds like the bug I suffered in November.

Beeant, look at my November 4, 2010, 4:56 am post (JCJP Update Blog Bulletin's thread).
I was using FireFox 3.6.x, so I think FireFox 1.0.6 is innocent.

I suffered abnormal "randomness" for many days after that, but I think I'm finally free of it.

I guess it has something to do with the Good, Weak & Oblivion lists and their associated selection bias. My impossibility of find new Vocab or Kanji while practicing seems to be related, too. Stoner also said she couldn't find new Kanji.

a_muses has an incomplete Word Stats, just like Stoner (and me at that time).
Maybe it can affect only users older than the G/W/O lists.

Beeant, if you want a list of bugs, you can start with this one.

On a second thought, it's not exactly the same as my bug, but it sounds somehow familiar to me.
    I bet it's related.

Actually, it's funny -- though in the Random I have all good words and kanji, when I first log in, JCJP tells me I haven't encountered a bunch of words. I've encountered them in Random, but not in the vocabulary tests since the G/W/O lists were started.
