I had that problem with chat. The problem I saw was websocket connection issue, which would also be the cause of the attendance counter problem. This problem is probably due to old cached temporary internet files.

To fix this problem, I decided to do delete my temporary internet files ('clear browsing history' and select relevant options). You could just hard-refresh ('Ctrl+F5' maybe) the page, which should also fix the problem? :)

@mog86 thanks for the advice. I forgot to mention that the chat issue is also on JCJP for mobile devices. I will try refreshing Safari for iPod Touch 5 too.

I think the JCJP website has moved to a new server (the reason for the site downtime over the last 24 hours). So that's probably the reason why there's a problem with using cached files from before the move.
