- 'How goes ___?' is an expression in English, although it's probably not used anywhere near as much as it's equivalent 'how is ___ going?', which has exactly the same meaning.
'How's it going?' is probably the most normal version when speaking in a casual conversation -- this is used very frequently as a greeting here in the UK. 'How goes it?' feels old fashioned or something. 'How it goes?', at least in this situation, is just wrong! :DMay 29, 2014 at 12:27am - In Germany they say "wie geht's" which literally translates to "how goes it."
