Look at videos of hiragana consonants and vowels memorize it or go tae kim's website called are Tae Kim's Guide to Learning Japanese
Start with learning hiragana and katakana, from there just start with a grammar book/website and then dive into the vocab.
Well, in the beggining (of this thing of "learning Japanese") I went with the idea that "If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there". Just go, try, and if something is not giving what you want (learn), the way you can enjoy, just try something else.- "A knowledge of the path cannot be substituted for putting one foot in front of the other."
