- What do you mean? From あ to ん that's all of hiragana. And yes you've gotta learn it all, it's not as hard as it seems.July 18, 2014 at 12:04am
- Yes, learn all KanaJuly 18, 2014 at 12:35am
- Tell me, did you find necessary to learn all of the English alphabet? Besides, it only takes a few hours of practice to learn them all.頑張って (Good luck)!July 18, 2014 at 12:45am
- I wasn't trying to find a way out of it. I just got really confused for a second, haha. But thank you.July 18, 2014 at 2:05am
- Learning Kana is the smallest part. If you have problem with learning 100 characters, I dont think learning 2000 kanji with different meanings and readings will be any easier.July 18, 2014 at 4:26am
- Be sure to learn all of katakana too.July 18, 2014 at 5:40am

- I have no problem learning all 46 Hiragana. But there's more in beginners lessons, like が and ぶ. I guess what I'm trying to ask is why are there more than 46? I'm just confused, haha.July 18, 2014 at 6:17am
- Those are called ten-ten letters they are just two marks in the top right to give some characters a second sound to make more words. For example (さ sa) becomes (ざ za) not that big of a change you will remember in time with reading it will become second nature. Have fun

Just wondering what the 50 sounds table (五十音図) looks like typed out in a feed post. Obviously there are only 46 kana, not 50. Also, as most people say お and を are pronounced exactly the same, I guess there are actually only 45 sounds in the table... strange eh?July 18, 2014 at 12:52pm - YES!!! ín order to learn japanese properly you NEED to know the Kana (includes Hiragana and Katakana) which summs up a total of 92 Kana!
That's really not that hard ;) if you're to lazy to learn THIS, what are you saying about Kanji??? there are more than 2000 of them :D
July 18, 2014 at 8:03pm - I was told that there are 46 Hiragana but I saw more than that in the beginning lessons and I was confused. But it got cleared up. Like I said, I have no problem learning it, I guess I should have worded this post differently? :)July 19, 2014 at 2:17am
- just learn the 107 hiragana & the 107 katakana this is the base of this languageJuly 19, 2014 at 8:51am
- You can get by just recognising the Kanji alone without knowing how to write them, but at LEAST learn to read and write the hiragana and katakana, if you can't do that, you probably shouldn't be learning this language. It's not alot, hiragana is 46 characters if you don't count the compound charactersJuly 20, 2014 at 11:40am
