- Hi there!
I am no expert myself but some people recommend studying or at least having a look at radicals (the parts a kanji is made of) first. It is, according to them, a lot easier then to learn kanji.
It is also a good idea to write them frequently, this way you include more senses into studying and you will hopefully remember them better.
Hm...you could also try the mnemonics technique (basically making up a story for each kanji) which can help a lot with some.
If you have access to a good library or if you have some spare money you could buy the book "Remembering the Kanji" (or google really well....)
Other than that, keep repeating practising them on this website until you know them.
This wasn't really elaborate but maybe it will help you anyway :)
がんばって!July 27, 2014 at 9:59am - I've been using the memory technique with everything else so I will stick with it or try the book :)
Thank youJuly 27, 2014 at 8:40pm - I'm learning radicals right now man and it helps so much when seeing new kanji for the first time. If you know the kanji for water you get a lot of other kanji correct just by knowing it has to do with water.
泳 swim 泣 cry 洋 ocean 涎 saliva 浜 beach 湮 sink 湯 hot water 滝 waterfall
They all have the 3 water drops on the side is how I remember it.
That's the water radical.July 28, 2014 at 6:02am - """"Remembering the kanji""""July 29, 2014 at 8:12am
