Even forgotten stuff should leave a little imprint, allowing you to learn a little easier the next time. Forgetting and relearning is pretty normal! Good luck!
I know that feel. I haven't kept up with my studies for a couple of years, so some of the more complex kanji, and the grammar, are lost.
I know your pain as I am in the exact same position. Good luck! From flashcards I have picked up it is surprising how much you do remember as Kimbo said after a refresher. Grammar a little more tricky as is listening and speaking :s
While you're at it, it might be a good idea to give what you've learnt a regular function, so you use it more on a daily basis as to not forget most of what you've learnt so far. :P- HEy thank you all so much on this. YEa its just like muscle memory everything will come back pretty much to where it was over time ^^
