Alright, so I'm having a bit of trouble pronouncing the Japanese "r". I've listened to how they pronounce the ra,ri,ru,re,ro characters in the Hiragana & Katakana lessons section but it seems like they pronounce it differently each time. For instance, with the character ら I hear "da" but with the り character I don't hear the "r" at all. Could someone explain to me how to actually pronounce it?

Put the tongue as if you were to say "da" but instead of touching your teeth, start the movement at the roof of your mouth (at the same place you start the sound "la"). Try around that position until you produce the right sound.

Thanks! I've practiced it a bit and I think I got the hang of it now.
