I'm having a little trouble in Vocabulary Lv.2 Chapter 14.

The word のどがかわき does not exist. It is to mean "thirsty".

Could someone tell me if the word かわく is the correct word in place of のどがかわき?

    I think is like that: (かわ)乾き - Noun and (かわ)乾く - Verb

    I usually say のどがかわいた。

this is the same thing as おなかが痛い. It's not a word, it's a sentence. it breaks down to Throat (is the thing that is) dry "喉 が 乾き".

渇く (かわく) means "to get thirsty". This is the adjective-zed form of the expression.

    Thanks, I think I understand.

Thanks again reston, Sloppyninja, and DS25 for taking the time help and comment, I really appreciate it.
