Hello everyone,

I thought I`d share with you guys an excellent tool I found on iTunes. It`s a free podcast + video series, published by American University.

It`s an engaging study on 部首 bushu, kanji radicals. Here it is:

https://itunes.apple.com/it/itunes-u/bushu-kanji-makers-japanese/id438294617?mt=10

You can download it onto your iPod or whatever mp3 player you have, but make sure it can also play videos since most of the lessons rely on video presentations. Or you can watch all the lectures on your computer, just like I am doing.

This tool is quite impressive, I must say, especially considering that it`s free of charge. There aren`t any more excuses now not to learn Japanese properly. We`ve got all the necessary tools to reach proficiency, as long as we put enough effort into it. :)

So....皆さん、しっかりと勉強しましょうね!

I just watched the intro video and also the videos for a few random radicals. Excellent series, better than I was expecting.

It would be great if everyone on here would watch that intro video atleast, because it answers so many important questions really clearly in those 15 minutes.

I hope they might decide to extend the series. I have studied probably all of those 90 radicals already, including the bronzeware and oracle bone stuff they mention, but there are some more complicated, less common radicals which I'm interested in. I did still learn a couple of small things I've missed elsewhere though. ^^
