then there's absolutely no reason to add/have friends on this site lol, except maybe for err..shortcut to their profiles :|
In the previous version of JCJP, when you wrote a message on anyone's profile page, it didn't also show up on the main page. So it was a reasonably private conversation, although anyone could still read it if they went on that user's profile page.
In this version of JCJP, this way of posting on people's profiles was changed. You can write on a user's "feeds" page on their profile, but it will also display it on the main "Social Feeds" page of the site, so everyone would notice it.
Before, I think people were talking a lot in private conversations and not with everyone else. Now conversations are much less private, so the conversations are more open to everyone being involved.- As for adding friends, there was a little bit more of a reason for doing this in the previous version of JCJP.
On user profile 'friends' page it previously showed a ranking table with just your friends and their exp, highest combo, etc. So you could see if you are keeping pace with your friends easier. This has been replaced with something more pretty. :P
