Can someone explain, why does this site always shut down a lot? Or is it just my computer that is seems to shut out? Anyone here have the same issue?

The site itself goes down. It's not just you; it affects everyone. I recommend bookmarking the following link, which quickly tells you if the site is online or not. Check this if you can't get on and want to be sure it isn't just your computer:

There was a bug which occurred when the user got 100% correct on Readings quizzes, which kept causing the site to crash. This bug was fixed two days ago, so hopefully the site shouldn't go offline quite as often. ^^
Sadly, the site has still gone down since the bug was fixed, so this wasn't the only problem causing the site to crash.
I don't fully understand the situation, but once the site crashes and goes offline, then it seems the site needs to be manually rebooted (or whatever) by the site admin, beeant. So if beeant is asleep or he's not at a computer, then the site could stay down for a few hours before it's back up again. Hope that helps. :)
Thanks!- Since I wrote that message, the site admin, Beeant has been on and fixed a lot of things on the site.
Also, he's made it so that if the site does crash now, it should reboot itself and be back online within a minute or two (not several hours like before)! ^^
