@mog86uk Guess who just passed @Unkokun? Your next challenge is @Unkokun instead of @terriz. My JCJP test account @washoku will enter Ranking page 3 pretty soon.

- I was thinking I might still be able to get another 1 million EXP from Practice, as there are so many Level 5 questions. However, after doing some Level 5 practice, I'm not so sure. What I am almost certain of is that I don't have enough EXP left to reach rank 3.
I'm interested in what you said the other day though, when you said you'll be earning 7000 EXP per day on your Kekkou account, even though you have no EXP left in Lessons/Practice...
You'd have to answer 1000 Readings quiz questions (7 EXP each), but even then you can't answer identical words more than 29 times before it stops awarding EXP.
I've only completed 67 Reading quizzes and already I have questions which have gone past 29 times correct... Words like 日, 月, 時, 分, 米, appear in nearly every news article and get annoying having to keep answering them everytime, lol... xDJanuary 28, 2015 at 10:44am - I still managed to earn 70k EXP in two hours, with Practice settings set to all of "kanji + vocabulary + reverse vocabulary", only "Level 5", and only "show kanji".
The Level 5 questions I've never answered wrong are at roughly 16 times answered correct on average, so can get EXP on them 13 more times. I'm a bit more optimistic now about seeing how near I can get to rank 3. ^^January 28, 2015 at 1:54pm - @mog86uk December 29, 2014 and January 2, 2015 on my statistics page shows it is possible to hit 7,000 EXPs on just the Readings quizzes on the same day. :).
Plus, I keep making dumb mistakes, so there are still dozens of ways I can earn between 6 - 12 points per Reading Question.
Once you complete as many Readings as I have, you will see what I mean. Only a fraction of the Quiz questions repeat over 29 times. @adkdcmorgan can probably explain it beter.January 28, 2015 at 2:21pm - Wow. That's pretty impressive. I think I could answer that many Reading questions in one day, but I like to read each article and try to make sense of it.
Are you sure it's 6-12 points per question? I'm fairly certain I've only ever seen 7 EXP, although I haven't paid a lot of attention to this.
Today I spent 20 minutes doing Practice, answered 300 questions (all Level 5 vocab+kanji [100-110 EXP each]) and earnt 20,000 EXP. So two thirds of the questions I answered were below 29 times correct. Also means each minute I averaged 15 questions or 1000 EXP...
I'm only 100,000 EXP behind you now. I might try overtaking you after work, as it should in theory only take less than 2 hours (1500 questions). ^^January 29, 2015 at 1:33am - @mog86uk I'll provide one example of each point level in the Reading quizzes later.January 29, 2015 at 2:46am
- I'm interested. I had no idea Readings quizzes were like that.
Also I'm going to try what I said earlier, overtaking you in 2 hours time, starting now. ^^January 29, 2015 at 8:32am - @mog86uk The 6-12 point thing was the Oblivion list, not the Reading quizzes, and I probably imagined the 6-point question.January 29, 2015 at 9:25am
- Ah, that makes sense.
Have you noticed the change on the rankings page? :P
1 hour 50 minutes ago I was on 500 combo and was 100,000 EXP behind you. Now, almost 1,500 questions later, I'm 1,000 EXP ahead of you. I should probably widen the gap as you could overtake me again, but I kind of don't want to ruin my score today... ^^January 29, 2015 at 10:26am - It took a really long time to kick my butt. However, you did it. :) Congratulations! @Unkokun has not met his daily attendance mark since May 2014, so passing him will be boring and uneventful. But @terriz may be a tough one to beat. Also, I believe @adkdcmorgan already maxed out his point combo, but passing him will be a monumental challenge. Good luck!January 30, 2015 at 2:08am
- @mog86uk How can I overtake you when I can only earn 100 points per Reading quiz? Hee hee. Don't worry about it ... just stay focused. But once Level 7 is added, I will give you a challenge. :pJanuary 30, 2015 at 2:13am
- Lol, I meant last night, back when I logged off while only 1,000 EXP ahead of you. Good luck catching up now though! :D
I notice you managed to get over 7,000 EXP doing readings tonight! o.O
In a way, I think that's crazier than what I did! :DJanuary 30, 2015 at 2:11pm - I still have 1.5 hours to go! I think this is a new all-time Readings record. And I realized what you meant AFTER posting the previous message. *sighs*January 30, 2015 at 2:18pm
- @mog86uk I almost made it to 10,000 EXPs today. Oh well. I believe I started 8.5 hours ago. If I made zero mistakes, I probably would have cleared 10,000 easily. Good night! :)January 30, 2015 at 3:36pm
- Nice! Although if you were to carry on at that pace, then after a few weeks your user profile would probably be impossible to access...
At the rate I'm burning through my remaining available EXP in Practice, I'll probably be joining you in doing lots of Readings quizzes. Good night. ^^January 30, 2015 at 4:04pm - Wow! 36,000 EXPs needed to pass 5th place. Keep up the pace. Then, I think you will easily pass @terriz since he is really slowing down each day, then @adkdcmorgan for 3rd. After that, I doubt you can pass Japan's @twoai. Good luck! :)February 3, 2015 at 8:03am
- Just passed the 10,000 EXP-a-day mark (10:30am - 10:30 pm). I now understand why I can score so high. See my new Social Feeds post at http://japaneseclass.jp/feeds/comment/5919February 4, 2015 at 3:38pm
- @mog86uk 411,000 EXPs to pass @adkdcmorgan. Maybe you can be the first user since @Medyrius to enter the coveted 8 million EXP mark! I hope I will be second! ;)February 6, 2015 at 10:21am
