the web site hase been doing this since i join on jan 17th i been getting lots of error they pop up error evry day for me for the hole time i been on this website its stoping me from learning it happens to meany times. i think its a money problem they dont get enuf donations.so thers will lway be error saying need to donate o keep runing? i think ther trying to make a membership fee now thats why the donation error message pops up. sorry for the spelling i cant spell good.
That or without many donations its hard to have enough servers to support the amount of traffic?
The site has been running really good recently. So many times better that a few months ago, when the site would often be down for several hours each day.
However, there are definitely some bugs which aren't helping the situation. The chat feature has a new problem which developed a few days ago. The online users list keeps running into a situation where some users will get listed multiple times (sometimes going out of control and listing the same user 100 times). And some user profile pages take a long time to load if that user uses the Readings feature a lot, sometimes timing out and failing to load, which is due to the way the profile pages are designed to load.
Some parts of the site slow down after a while, and eventually the site crashes. But once it crashes, then a few seconds later the site restarts itself and goes back to running much faster again. ^^
@kekkou Are you certain that the slow loading times aren't just when you're trying to get onto your own profile? ;)
(took 41 seconds today when I tried it, and 40 seconds yesterday)
