  Welcome to the site!
  
  I thought there was meant to be an annoying pop-up asking new users whether they already know hiragana and katakana? where, depending on which option you chose, it points an arrow at where to start?
  
  If you don't know kana (hiragana and katakana) yet, then in the Lessons section you need to do the "For Beginners" thing on the right side of the page. Here's a direct link to the page for learning kana:

  If you do already know kana, then start on Lesson Chapter 1 in the Lessons section. You can do chapters from either kanji or vocabulary in whatever order you feel like.
  
  Once you've done some Lessons, you can then go to the Practice section.
  
  IMPORTANT: The navigation bar with links to the different sections of the site is on the left side of the page. Other important stuff appears on the right side of the page. HOWEVER, if you are viewing the site on a mobile device or are viewing the site on a small screen, then the left and right bars will be hidden and you will have to click on an icon at the top to make them appear...
  
  (All this is way too much effort to explain clearly... and in a day or two someone else is just going to ask the exact same questions) ;_;

  lol ty mog86uk..... I just kinda stuck with the old fashion hand made flash cards. But amma give this site another try :P
