    日常でしょう?とても楽しいです。

    Tonari no Seki-kun was awesome. Definitely took messing about during lessons to a whole new level where it became an art form. I didn't pay anywhere near enough attention in lessons at school. Now I look back on it and realise how wrong I was with the way I wasted my time... because I should have been wasting my time in the way that Seki does! :D

    Also, what MintyHippo mentioned, Nichijou (My Ordinary Life), is easily the funniest anime in existence. I can't believe Crunchyroll doesn't have it anymore... Could watch episodes of that repeatedly without it ever getting old. ^^

    @mog86uk I really like that the episodes are easy to follow! The plot is very childish and cute and the Japanese, though a bit fast, it's too complex so I can understand! I've taken to watching childrens shows to really increase my comprehension, however my sister watched Nichijou and the Japanese seemed quiet fast (since they screamed a lot haha) but thanks for the suggestion! When I get more advanced I hope to be able to watch it!

    @chaihakyeon Yeah, I wouldn't recommend Nichijou if you are wanting something for Japanese listening comprehension practice. I rarely ever watch anime without English subs, although in the rare cases where there is a Japanese subs option I sometimes use those instead of the English subs.
    日本語を理解するために、「しろくまカフェ」はとてもいいアニメシリーズです。^^

    Easy stuff: shoujos, shoujos and more shoujos! Ao Haru Ride and Sailor Moon are two great picks! Avoid as a plague Toradora and Lovely Complex.

    Because somewhere along the way you got to shows and subtitles... One question : do they help? I recently got a filling, that instead of listening to what they say, i read the subs instead:(
    P.S I do hope you get the point of my question, English aint my native language.
  • DS25
    Personally I think that help once you have attained a very good level. Before that, they're not really that useful. It's much better to get some raw mangas and try to translate them.
  • chaihakyeon
    @leenalee personally for me it's a combo of helping me understand and also picking up 'natural' japanese and words I didn't know. So it works for me!

    @mog86uk しろくまカフェを見たことがあるけど10episodeだけを見た〜So maybe watching in Japanese is a good idea to continue!!
  • MintyHippo
    @DS25 Some manga are very easy to translate, and unlike anime you don't have a time limit to figure out what something means. I'm totally in agreement with manga being easier. Although obviously if you want to practice listening that's where you'd do it. ^^
