To whomever reads such things:

This website is extremely useful and well put together. (Yes, it's buggy, but that is easily forgiven because of the fact that almost 4.5 seconds after a bug report, someone's already done fixing it.) I enjoy it's resemblance to facebook and the ease of which it is to navigate. Easy to learn from, nice community, and an incredible service response time. Unlike other places where you have to wait 3 days for an uninformative email. I very much thank whoever is responsible for developing and maintaining this whole thing.

There is one major thing which really should be sorted out:

Nowhere on the entire site does it say who owns/develops/maintains/administers/pays for(/etc.) this site. The answer to ALL of those questions is one person living in Japan-- Beeant. His profile page is here:
    http://japaneseclass.jp/user/statistics/1

(I guess his profile "about me" text does kind of hint that he may be the admin of the site, but even this doesn't make it 100% certain. Maybe this info is more clearly stated on the JCJP Facebook and Twitter pages, if people happen to have seen them before. Idk though.)

If you want to say anything to Beeant, it's probably best to post your comments on his feed on his profile page. ^^

I always assumed he was being humble about the whole thing. He just wants everyone to enjoy the site. :D He's pretty cool like that.

@Stray_Mongrel, Yeah. I've always thought the same, for the most part. However, I think that information is fairly important for the "Donate" page at least, where the text on the right of the page doesn't even say who wrote that text...

Most new users of the site are confused for a long time about who the admin is and say things like "the team who make JCJP"... And when users have issues and wish to contact a site admin, they very often have no idea who it is or how to contact them.

The previous version of JCJP had several extra pages which were removed in this this current version to make things tidier. There was the "about" page, a "help" page explaining how to use the site, a development blog link, and there were clear contact detail information (such as an email address).

I do still think it is mostly that "humble" thing, just that maybe it is accidental just how much important site information is now missing in this new version.

After saying all this, I have just noticed that there is some of this important information on one page of the site. I'm fairly sure this page is a fairly recent thing, but maybe I just never noticed it before. The link to it can only be seen on the welcome/log-in page:

(Just noticed that "privacy" page actually has a date at the bottom saying it was updated two months ago, which may be the date that page was created?)

Unfortunately my attendance has been sketchy, at best, for the past few years. I came back on after a long absence, and everything was changed. Still getting used to the new layout.
