So, I'm having trouble figuring out how to insert a profile picture. I clicked on edit profile picture and it allows me to crop a photo I select but then there is no "ok" button and when I press the X, the picture does not get set as the profile picture. Thanks

There should be a "Crop and Finish" button below the picture you are cropping. The button may not be large enough to see all its words though. This button is definitely there on Chrome using a computer.
On which web browser (and on phone or computer)?
For example, on Safari it is currently impossible to upload a profile picture (unless it has been fixed recently). Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera should all be fine on computers (no idea about phones).
Your problem sounds different to the Safari one though.
I am using chrome on the computer. Hmm, I don't see anything that says "Crop and Finish".- Is it possible that the image you are using is large and takes up nearly the full height of the browser window? The "Crop and Finish" button appears directly below the image you are cropping. The gap between the bottom of the image and the top of the button is about 20 pixels.
Because the overlay which you do the cropping on cannot be scrolled, could it be possible that the button is off the bottom of the page?
I'll try and get a screenshot of the button, on my up-to-date version of Chrome on Windows 7. ^^ - That must be it. I think the image must be too large. Thanks a lot! ありがとうございますえ！

This is interesting, that the image height can prevent people uploading their profile pictures. It's the first time I've noticed anything about that, and it might be what caused other users to have problems uploading profile pictures and giving up on it. Hopefully something can be changed to prevent this problem now. :)
