I thought I'm gonna learn here how to read. I don't hve any idea how to change the settings. It keep making me read kanji, I don't even know half the kanji. Help~~~

You're talking about the "Readings" feature, right? These are snippings of articles from newspapers and other online news outlets.
You use the "Vocabulary List" underneath to learn the words, where it also shows the reading of the word in kana. The questions in the quiz also show the reading kana.
It's not just the "Readings" feature. It's also the case with "Practice." I am not all that great with Kanji just yet, so for many of them I end up guessing. I have been wondering the same thing.
