Hey, everyone. Could you help me? I've been studying (struggling) kanji for a while with this site and anki, but I dunno what other tools I could use to improve my study. Could you recommend me any? Also, I'd like to start studying grammar, sentence construction...that sort of things, but I dunno where to start. I'd be really happy if someone could help me (:

Get a textbook for grammar. Or a site like YesJapan. GRAMMAR BEFORE KANJI. Or at the same time.
Use a system that uses mnemonics for kanji (Remembering The Kanji - book; Wanikani - website (£); Kanjidamage - website).
Use Lang-8 for corrected writing practice.
Use My Kikitori for lower level listening practice.
Get a trial Japanesepod101 account and get the 'free download' of Japanese complete. Cancel your subscription. Listen to a podcast whenever you're free (doing the washing up, let one play as you drift off into sleep, in the bath, etc.)
Start reading the stories on the Great ChokoChoko Library - website after a couple months into your textbook.

@EskimoJo: Thanks for the site references they will be a big help to me :-)
Where did you find the 'free download' of Japanese complete on the site of Japanesepod101? I could not find it...

Sorry, it's called Ultimate Getting Started Japanese. It should have been offered to you at sign up (along with a 'limited offer one month free trial instead of one week omg!!!'). Perhaps they have changed things.
Tbh, you could also just use something to download all the content from Jpod101 during your free trial, but then you'd have to go through alll the files and organise it. The Ultimate pack is a nice way to start.
I would also read this: http://www.nihongonobaka.com/japanesepod101-com-individual-season-reviews/
    and comply.

@EskimoJo: Thanks for the reply, was not online the last day so did not see it earlier ^^
Well they rearranged things you and have a free lifetime membership on that site now, so i won't have to cancel it. Downloaded all the vidoes, for the rest i will settle with the free stuff.
For audio i have the "Teach yourself - Japanese" book+CD which i bought some time ago. It seems quite nice. Have a nice day
