少し疲れてでも勉強したい。←--文は正しいですか?たとえば、文保?
It'll be cool to learn the Japanese words/phrases for: "verb" "adjective" "noun" "adverb" "sentence structure" "particle" and "form" (ex. like -te, -tai, negative, etc.)

    でも can only be used at the beginning of a new sentence, so in this case you'd have to use to use が or けど.
    Also, the "pure" -て form is usually used to connect sentences. You were trying to say that you're tired right now, right? So, you'd have to use the -ている form.

    The correct sentence, this way, would be:

    少し疲れているけど、勉強したい。

    :)

    And one more thing: you mistook the kanji on 文保. It was supposed to be 文法 xP

    @bee_17 Yes, I was trying to say that I was tired right now. I haven't learned the -teiru form yet or alot of things. I was trying to use the Japanese I already knew to write as much as I could. Thank you for the corrections.

    @TashaMints, I learnt many of those terms while reading sites like the following ones. Most of the terms stuck in my head really well too because of how much I used these sites:

    http://redesign.nihongoresources.com/grammar
    http://kafkafuura.wordpress.com/classical-japanese/#types
    http://www.imabi.net

    If you work your way slowly through Imabi for learning grammar, you will encounter just about all the terminology and havve to learn it. Once you've passed lessons where it is explained then the lessons that follow will frequently use grammatical terminology written only in Japanese.

    It does help a lot knowing all the terminology, such as the different verb conjugation bases: 連体形 (れんたいけい), 連用形 (れんようけい), 未然形 (みぜんけい), 命令形 (めいれいけい), ...

    It would make explaining grammatical concepts a LOT easier if everyone learned the Japanese grammar terminology. On sites like JCJP you have no idea which of the many various English terminologies everyone else understands, or even just whether the person you are writing to can read hiragana. It takes a lot of effort trying to guess what level to write at and how much of everything you have to explain... ^^;

    @mog86uk Thank you! I have taken a Japanese class before, however I have forgotten a lot and find it a bit tricky to pick up new things or find places to learn the parts of Japanese that I know I would like to learn.
