when reading kanji, how do I know when to read it by onyomi or kunyomi? Are there any rules in reading it? Can anyone give any answer? Please. Thanks

    Basically kunyomi if the Kanji is alone or has Kana attached to it.
    Onyomi if you have a composition of several Kanjis.
    (as far as I know)

    Ugh... what A3agnos said, but that is VERY much dependent on the word. Expect to be blindsided.
