Congrats. :)
Studying everyday is very important. I am better than I was a month ago, yet I didn't know much. I thought I would never learn Kanji, but it has been being (?) easy now, lol.
It depends on your mindset. For me, kanji seemed daunting at first, but if you can see them as logic puzzles, they're easier than grammar by a LONG shot. If a Japanese person says a word I don't know, I get them to write it out, and then I know the meaning. Easy peasy. Japanesey. :P
