Hope you get a good result! Which level did you take?

I'm also curious what level you took. Listening is fairly easy for the most part, in fact, it's the one "gimme" section most people enjoy as opposed to vocab/kanji/grammar/reading comprehension which is a mixed bag depending on the person. Hope you did well.

I took the N5 today. It was hard. :/ I think I might be disqualified for not scoring well enough on the listening part. Reading I probably got a B in.

Listening was hard. Maybe my worst section this time T.T
In N2 I got about 90% in listening, this time (N1) I'm hoping I got as close to 60% as possible. Also ran out of time in reading -.-" I just hope I have luck on my side.

I see we have the same encounters with the difficulty in the listening part. ^^ Well, the main reason was because I did not get any sleep, and did not ate anything since morning (My stomach grumbles louder than the speaker lol). :( At least Vocab, grammar, and reading was a piece of cake though.

Every day I l'm listening to people speak Japanese for hours. And my N2 test results proved I'm not bad at it. The problem is simply the test is hard I guess xD I have no excuses.

I attempted my very first level of JLPT, N5. I found 2nd paper bit difficult. Problem I seem to have is not much of reading practice when it comes to passages. Can some one help me with insights how should I prepare for N4 test please.

I've never took N4 or N5 but when I started studying for the tests, I really sucked at reading. I was awesome at vocab and grammar - so why did I suck at reading? Because I had never studied it. I'd spent a 1000 hours studying vocab on Anki - but never studied reading. There are techniques you can use to help you - look for key words, recognize places likely to have the answer. I'd recommend buying/downloading a Dokkai book suited to your level (one made in Japan, not one made by non-Japanese).
I don't know how difficult reading is on N4, but I can say this for N3-N1.

Thanks for quick response. Surely will keep tab on Dokkai book. Thanks again.

Hey guys, thanks! I took level N5. I think listening was the hardest for me because I haven't practiced it that much, as opposed to grammar and vocabulary! Sorry for not answering quicker; university is keeping me really busy :D
