新宿 (しんじゅく) = Shinjuku -- one of the wards within Tokyo.
区 (く) = ward, district, section.
So, 新宿区 = Shinjuku ward. There's a good chance you've heard of Shinjuku before, since it's a pretty major place in Japan. There are several other questions which are names of places or phrases. If you can't find the definition in a dictionary, a good next step is checking something like Google or Wikipedia. ^^
ooh. It was kinda dumb of an error. Since I didn't find it in a dictionary I was confused, now it makes sense, thank you.
