- This website, the book "Kanji Look and Learn", and printable practice sheets from here http://www.csus.edu/indiv/s/sheaa/projects/genki/kanji_main.htmlJanuary 14, 2016 at 5:51am
- As for printable practice sheets, you can download them in this same site from every kanji entry and they are way better designed (they don't include the onyomi, kunyomi and meaning, though).January 14, 2016 at 10:15am
- "Remembering the Kanji" by Heisig and http://kanji.koohii.com/ to review did the trick for me, but there are plenty of other ways that work. Learning how to write them helps a lot with remembering them, even if you are only interested in reading.January 14, 2016 at 2:31pm
- If you ever want to know how to actually say the kanji, do not rely heavily on RTK. I know plenty of people who can rattle off what the meaning of any particular bunch of kanji are, but couldn't say them in Japanese to save their lives.January 14, 2016 at 3:52pm
- I use the exact same method as Katka. RTK is awesome, if you combine it with other tools.January 15, 2016 at 12:34am
- You can take a methode (book) and when you learn a kanji , you take as many word as possible then get to the next kanji and take all the words that contain the kanjis you've learnt so far and so on.. Combine it with Anki and it will be effective. o/January 15, 2016 at 6:00am

- I struggled with kanji for a long time until I learned about RtK and Koohii's reviews. So I have to recommend those too. But it works best for simple recognition-- afterwards, you have to learn the on/kun readings (although you can learn them while you're reading your favorite books/articles/manga, which is what you want to do anyway)January 15, 2016 at 4:26pm
