How long has it been since you all first started learning Japanese? And approximetly how long did you practice before finding this site?

It's been 5 years. 2 years in and I could read quickly but needed a dictionary. I found this site around then. I've been taking courses at my university for the past year and my vocabulary has improved enough I can finally scrap the dictionary and keep up with spoken Japanese.
