I just started learning kanji a few days ago, and I was surprised that I found it easier to understand the meaning of the kanji rather than reading/saying it. In fact, it's pretty difficult for me to differentiate between kunyomi and onyomi. Any tips for remembering kunyomi and onyomi, or kanji in general?

if you are just starting just stick to learning the meanings, but if wanna learn the kunyomi and onyomi I recommend learning the words for it.
eg: kun- 車－くるま
on- 車－自転車－じてんしゃ
Also make kanji fun by relating it with other kanji
