In Japanese, you don't say ありがとう when you are making a request-- ありがとう is an expression of gratitude for something which has already been done. You say "(どうぞ)よろしくおねがいします"-- The "おねがいします" part means making a request.
大丈夫頑張って- I just meant good luck
