I'm currently playing this one japanese game. Does anyone know what "ビヤツ!?" or "ピヤツ!?" should mean? Can't find anything online about that.

- hey Artur (^_^*)
what's the game called and what kind of game is it?
Without any context (what situation is this said in? to whom? argument? etc.) this isn't easy, but my first reaction: written in katakana -> must be a loan word from english or some other language -> spells bi ya tsu. Need I say more xD (I might be wrong, but I'm guessing it says "bitch"?).April 28, 2016 at 3:35am - What kind of game are you playing? XDDApril 28, 2016 at 4:11am
- Acidron, that is usually spelled as ビッチ thoughApril 28, 2016 at 4:25am
- Yeah, without knowing anything about what the game is or any context at all, just that tiny blurry screenshot to go by, I don't really know either.
ピヤツ could just be the name of whoever that blue blob is talking to.
ピ could just be a name followed by 奴 (やつ) written also in katakana.
ピヤツ could just be a meaningless noise fictional animal(?) makes?
However, I think the ヤ and ツ are actually the small versions of those kana, ャ and ッ, but without being able to see more examples of the font used in that game, it's a hard to be 100% certain. If they are the small kana, then ピャ could be the word/name/noise/whatever and the ッ could just be added to make an abrupt exclamation feeling (similar to the ! symbol following it).
Someone could probably figure it out with a little more background information. ^^April 28, 2016 at 4:29am - yeah what game is this? :)April 28, 2016 at 4:58am
- I'd agree with @mog86uk.
Basically, the words doesn't make any sense. So it might have been some kind of fictional noises or reaction such as "Kya~". Usually the 'ツ' at the end of these words are used as exclamation mark.April 28, 2016 at 5:00am - It's called HomeLand for Nintendo Gamecube (that's why it's blurry ... 480i resolution)
Yeah, more context would make this much easier I guess. Sorry about that. The small blue blob is running away saying that.
But as mog86uk is already indicating it could be as well be "ピャッ!?" which could work as a kind of a scream. According to google that is Pya'!?April 28, 2016 at 5:04am - pyatsu looks like a name. I couldn't find piyatsu but I did see pyatsu.April 29, 2016 at 1:14am
- all kinds of adult anime websites start with pyatsu in the website address!April 29, 2016 at 1:56am
- Oops, different Kanji/Kana! I googled the subject line and it showed bi/piyasu or bya/pyasu I'm wondering why not bya/pya or bi/piya.
April 29, 2016 at 2:55am - Got it figured out. I'd still like to know the meaning though!April 29, 2016 at 3:20am
- @Artur: oh then I guess my guess is terribly wrong xD しつれいしました!
to everyone: this is a nice community for being so helpful and friendly, thank you all for that :)April 29, 2016 at 3:39am - http://eikohen.com/JpPhonetiics/Pt.3/phonetics3-2.html I also read somewhere that it is said when someone is trying to escape or will escape in manga situations. - Sakura Tamaki is a mysterious girl Hatsuyuki meets in the ruined old town, while she is searching for her bunny Nemu. She is somewhat weird and likes to use Nemu for BUNNY impersonations, which include things like the simple bunny, bunny-copter, old man’s beard, muffler, etc. She is strangely attracted to Hatsuyuki and has the habit of holding his hands whenever they are together, saying that his hands feel good. Highly allergic to adult themes in conversation, she is prone to scream "pyaa pyaa" and escape the scene whenever she hears it. She attends the same class as Hatsuyuki and seems to be a normal genki girl who gets along with everyone.
May 14, 2016 at 2:18am - I started this a small question and it turned into a full conversation :D
@JackBosma: Sounds similar to what happens in the game. The small mob runs away as it screams that.May 15, 2016 at 3:22am - It's not a word but has a meaning! I guess it's similar to Shoo!May 15, 2016 at 7:26pm
