In Kanji lesson 5 there is a Kanji in the quiz that was not taught in the lesson. Is there a way to fix this?

- Are you sure you definitely mean kanji chapter 5? I just checked kanji chapter 5 by taking the test, but I didn't see this problem with any of the 16 questions in that quiz.
From looking at your profile page, it looks like you've done only chapters 1-4 so far, so I'm wondering if maybe this was a typo and you meant a different chapter number?May 6, 2016 at 4:38am - Oh wait, do you mean 学 in kanji chapter 4? Yeah, that question should get looked into. That kanji isn't actually taught until chapter 51 (level 6), haha. ^^;
Although, even in chapter 4, you should be able to figure out the which answer is most likely to be correct using logic. In chapter 4, for the kanji 生 there are two example compound words containing 学. From looking at the readings of these words, the only answer that matches those two examples is がく. But even still, you're right this should be fixed. ^^May 6, 2016 at 4:47am - yeah i meant chapter 4 orz. I did end up figuring it out but they should definitely fix it.May 7, 2016 at 3:01am
- I think the tests purposely put in questions that you can only get by excluding the other options, or by making leaps of logic. For example; maybe you don't know the Japanese word for Library, but the choices it gives you are ’しろい’、’レストラン’、’としょしつ’、and ’ゆびんきょく’。If you already know the others are White, Restaurant, and Post Office. Or even are able to guess, because it ends in しつ and you know a lot of other rooms like Classroom and Office also end in that, then you'll be able to get it right. Simple things like, knowing the first one must be a colour, and the second one is in Katakana so it's probably not that... those are still you noticing linguistic patterns. I think it's trying to make it genuinely hard to get 100% so that people look closely and actually remember the information.May 8, 2016 at 3:20am
