it may help you go to readings after study, pick an article, and recognize them whle you read.
constant repitition.
Learn the general meaning of the kanji, the most common pronunciations, and find some words incorporating the kanji (combinations or singular verbs) and utilize them. The more you use them, the more 希望 you have to learning them :)
