The channel also has other videos, including ones where he uses anime to explain vocabulary and grammar used in the dialogue!

Am I the only person who interpreted the question as asking for reading material written in Japanese?

No ;) kayraa wants a japanese book/novel to read. Or a good japanese website to read japanese. NHK has some good/easy japanese to read, they have a short news section where you can read the news. Makes pretty good practice, but i dont think they use Kanji there.

I found a App on Play Store, that called "Read Japanese" for Computer. In this App are some Japanese traditional Storys and you can read with Kanji or with Hiragana (witch are written ocver the Kanji). There is also a Reader, who can read for you slowly,, fast and more for you.

I still recommend Genki and Guide to Japanese. There's a lot of text with vocabulary and questions about the text. So yeah, i also understand the question.
