Does anyone have any tips on learning katakana in a short time space? Like three days?

Though the app is not free, Dr. Moku helped me learn both katakana and hiragana in only a day. The full katakana series is about $3.00, as far as I know. If you can't get that, I'd recommend just plain old flashcards. They work wonders for me.

I just used a chart, then wrote some words, did some quiz and learned. On the other hand, Katakana is pretty rarely used so you need to practice it by yourself using quiz once in a week or something like this (Though i never did it myself)

that's how i learned hiragana. I still haven't learned katakana, because i am not really concerned about loanwords and foreign words.
Flash cards
- romanji on side and katakana on the other study them for about 45 minutes ever day.
- If you already know hiragana would be best study hiragana>katakana. The app JaSensei have this function on its hiragana/katakana quiz, i highly recommend always have this app while studying Japanese.
