- Unlucky. :(
I think you'll have more chance once you start doing Practice with the "show kana" setting turned off though. With it turned on, there is too much text to read, which can cause you to click an answer before you've finished reading all the choices properly.February 5, 2017 at 3:17am - Hey @mog86uk, I bet I'd click the wrong answer even with that option off, given my complete distraction on that one. Also, making large stretches raises the chances of me failing (151 today when I'm used to answer up to 50 questions everyday). Nevermind, that happens for good reasons. At least, I'll never trip on that one again, I guess...(^ν^)February 5, 2017 at 4:19am
- The very first one I tripped on was when the item said "dangerous" (or something)and I had both 危ない and 危険(な)... XDFebruary 5, 2017 at 5:45am
- is there a difference between kashikoi and atamagaii?February 5, 2017 at 3:29pm
- @Supibon, I've had that exact same one too. XD
(I like the tarutaru display pic btw. I was a tarutaru when I used to play FFXI.) ^^
@mirandalad, The same as whatever the difference in English is between an adjective covering the meanings "clever, smart, wise" and the expression "good head on one's shoulders".February 5, 2017 at 10:46pm - @mirandalad 賢い means "wise; clever; smart", isn't?
@Supibon even though they are translated the same, my guess is that 危ない and 危険 are used in different contexts. Other friends on the site could help explaining those things better, though.February 5, 2017 at 11:20pm - @mog86uk Hello! Yes, I was delighted when I read the profile of the most dedicated and active user(you!) and found out that he used to be a part of Vana'diel. This place(JCJP) doesn't have any private messages, does it? In any case, I love this place, and so do others that I invited here. Thank you Beeant!
@rblopes Yeah, contexts are so helpful, and sometimes even required for accurate interpretation. I totally agree with that!February 6, 2017 at 3:49am
