I don't know if anyone else knows about this app called "Kanji Study" by Chase Colburn, but I might as well inform everybody here who is looking for a great app for studying kanji offline that it has a free version which only has its N5 level unlocked. However, there's been a ~60% discount for the unlocked version which only cost me 199 PHP (that's around only 4USD).
The app has a great interface and has quizzes to test not only kanji readings/meanings, but also writing (with correct stroke order). Not only that, it has a vast list of example words and sentences which are great for learning the contexts in which a single kanji can be used.
I used the app quite a lot back when I was still drilling my way through its N5 study list but I was surprised to know its offering the rest of the content for so much cheaper than I remember (which was 475PHP, or ~9.5USD). In other words, it's a great additional resource for kanji learners--it can definitely help with retention kanji and will be of big aid for crunching our Oblivion and Lessons here. ^^
