I want to explain the bug JackBosma is talking about. It's very possible your accounts haven't encountered it and are therefore unable to replicate it, since it doesn't happen in every Readings quiz.
Firstly, I believe this bug might only occur in the more recent articles. Maybe only something like article ID 350,000 and upwards. I've done something like 2,300 quizzes from the oldest articles on the site (in the ID 1 to 10,000 range) and not a single one of these were affected by the bug. Whereas I've done only something like 250 quizzes from much more recent articles and four of them were affected by this bug, all ID 351,000+ kind of range.
To replicate the bug, here are my four "uncompleted" Readings quizzes which are affected by this bug. You'll encounter it too if you try out these quizzes:

As for what the cause of the problem is...
Each of those four readings quizzes have one bugged out Readings vocabulary word preventing the quiz ever reaching completed status. Here are those four words:

キヤノン (Second meaning in the list. The first is キャノン instead.)

As you can see, the bug seems to be somehow caused by these katakana only words having two "meaning" entries listed on their dictionary page, and that the one used in the Readings quiz is the second meaning listed rather than the first.
The Readings quiz is linking to the wrong one. It should be linking to the dictionary pages of the second "meaning" listed. This missmatch seems to be what is causing that bug which JackBosma is also mentioning.

Oops. I made a slight mistake near the end of my post. I don't know why I typed the following paragraph as it doesn't make sense.

The Readings quiz is linking the correct dictionary page. Such as the dictionary button for トラブル in the quiz links to the トラブル dictionary page. The problem is merely that トラブる being the first meaning listed on the dictionary page seems to cause a missmatch, rather than the dictionary page itself being missmatched. Typed that paragraph in my original post without putting enough thought into it. My mistake. xD- Oh, it looks like I grabbed the wrong link for the 4th word. I grabbed the link for トラブる instead by mistake. The Readings quiz itself doesn't direct to that page. That might have been part of the confusion I had towards the end of my post. ^^; (I wish we could edit posts.)
