  Combo updates on profile from practice mode only...

  Not sure I understand what you're implying?
  
  I began with around 300 combo yesterday. I then did practice mode, not making any mistakes, up to my previous highest combo of 739. Then I carried on a bit longer, until I reached 777 combo, and decided I'd purposely get the next answer wrong.
  
  (I didn't like the pressure after surpassing my previous combo of not making any mistakes; normally I try to stay relaxed and don't really mind if I do make a mistake. I thought, as I kept almost making a mistakes and the near end of the combo was inevitable, I may as well end it on a cool number.)
  
  Anyway, after hitting 777 combo in practice mode and purposely clicking the wrong answer, I then clicked on my username tab at the top, to check my profile...
  The combo reading hadn't updated at all, not even recorded anything else past 739, yet my score and right/wrong answer numbers had all updated fine.
  
  I then returned to practice mode, answered a couple more answers wrong to make sure it wasn't because maybe the combo hadn't ended. Checked my profile again... combo still hadn't changed. -_-
  
  It definitely seems like there was an error/bug in saving my combo?

  Well, from what I've just read it does indeed look like an update latency issue...
  I've never met this problem though... even when I tried, as u did, to stop my combo counter on a "cool" number ^^
  But I do remember doing this veeery carefully, checking my profile after every correct answer (last ones only ofc xD) and when I finally reached my goal I disconnected, other than purposely giving a wrong answer...
  
  I think u got unlucky after all... good luck on next try, 777 combo isn't too hard ;)

  Thanks! It's definitely not as nice as your 100000 combo + 10000000 exp, but it was much easier. ^_^
  Mine would have looked much more 'cool' on rankings if I had that 777 combo, to go along with my 77,777 exp for the day and 777,777 total exp.
  
  I often notice other people doing similar things with their scores too, like it's some kind of tradition on here? :P
  
  I'm still concerned about why the combo didn't record though. Seems even more weird if it should update your profile after every correct answer.
  I had a similar problem only a few weeks ago where my combo reset overnight, without me even getting -5 exp too, so there wasn't even a wrong answer either...

  Definitely!! Just saw the picture u took... (I just saw your total exp yesterday) It's just amazing!! *o* Looks like an FFVII invasion!!
  Found the message on it kind of funny though xD but yea, it's really too bad combo didn't record properly... Hontou ni zannen deshita ne.
  
  Haha yea, I guess this could be thought of as some kind of tradition... and the one u made would've been such a jewel in the global collection... It's actually not that bad already... How about u aim for the next number?
  
  I've had some troubles with the combo counter myself and yea... gotta say it kind of happens to work unexpectedly... There should be a FAQ to rely on in these kind of situations...
  Did u get disconnected from jcjp when that happened? because it happens the web browser updates itself if set so and when it does, any saved session get generally killed...
