    I understand the first half of what you said:
    定期的にジムに行こうと思ったが = 'I thought about regularly going to the gym, but...'

    However, I'm not sure about what the second half says?
    責務 duty/obligation
    が [subject]
    とても very
    いっぱいな a lot
    から、 (, because)
    無理な (impossible/unreasonable)
    んだ (is [の particle + だ copula])

    I'm guessing the second half is supposed to mean '(but) it is impossible (difficult), because there is a lot of obligation (to have go even on days you don't feel like going, because you're paying lots of money for it).'?

    I can't think of a better way to word what you want to say, but I think I can see a few problems with your sentence.

    無理な - I don't think this な is needed, as it the な-adjective is not being used attributively?

    んだ - I don't think this is ever used after な-adjectives? The な is already a form of the copula too, so な+の+だ is a weird combination. I think I've only seen んだ used after verbs and い-adjectives?

    とてもいっぱいな - I don't understand what the intended meaning is with the adverb とたも?
    '[obligation is] very much'?
    Also, I'm fairly sure this な is not needed, as it doesn't seem like this な-adjective is being used attributively either?

    Sorry for such a long reply. ^_^;
    I can't even give you a 'correct' sentence myself at the moment, so I should probably shouldn't be the one saying what looks wrong in your sentence. >_>

    とても* not とたも oops. :/
    I use kana-input instead of usual romaji-input. I didn't notice I hit the wrong key.
    I nearly put いっばい too, but I spotted that one -- I should post when I'm less sleepy...

    OK, I realise I actually made loads of silly mistakes! >_<
    Anyway, maybe this sentence works?

    定期的にジムに行こうと思ったが、責務がたくさんので、無理だ。

    I'm very sleepy, so forgive me if your original sentence made complete sense in the first place! :D

    First of all, why did you need to change the いっぱい to たくさん? I think those two means the same thing.

    Apparently, I shouldn't have put the な adjective after the いっぱい It's really obvious that it's a mistake.

    Next, I don't think the な modifying the 無理 adjective is a mistake. I mean I want to make 無理 to be an explanatory relative clause so I think なんだ should be added. If I am really incorrect altogether then how on earth can you express 無理 to be explanatory?

    It's funny reading what I wrote now that I'm a little more awake. :D

    I don't think there was a good reason I used たくさん other than it's a word I'm more familiar with using. Its meaning seems more specific though, and it seems less likely you'd feel like adding とても to it. たくさん was to hopefully replace all of とてもいっぱい.

    Yeah, you're right about な being needed for the 無理な before んだ.
    Still seems weird to me at the moment though.
    Looks like I need to read up on that stuff a bit more carefully, lol. ^^;

    Your sentence is correct but I intend to make 無理 to be explanatory. At the moment my germanese is still clumsy and I also need to read a lot of grammar stuffs and other similar shit.
    だけど、今は日本語を習って時間がない。だが、そろそろに日本語が上手になる。だから、先延ばしをしては行けません。I hope I didn't get grammatical errors this time.
