Yay. As you can see in the screenshot, I managed to get the furigana in the vocabulary lesson tests to disappear! Was tricky as the answer choices are written as single strings like "遠い - とおい", not in two separate parts, but where there's a will there's a way... ^_^
But man am I dumb for answering this wrong. I saw the "over there" part and immediately clicked an answer... Bye bye "excellent" status on this word too. ;_;

that's odd, i've never had any furigana in my vocabulary tests......
Your vocabulary test page answers choices list doesn't look the same as that screenshot. Should be able to guess what I meant by furigana.
I've always wondered what to call the kana-only version of the word to the right of the answer choice words...
Furigana doesn't have to be above the kanji, however I guess maybe this shouldn't be called furigana as the whole word is repeated (and sometimes there aren't any kanji in the word)? Calling it "yomigana" would probably be worse. Maybe "pronunciation"? I could just call it "kana", but I thought that would be confusing...
I guess I should have called it "the kana-only versions of the answer choice words", but that's kind of a mouthful. Any suggestions, or should I just keep calling them furigana? :P
