炊飯器のピザ (Rice cooker Pizza):

I think this may be a repost from several months ago on my old account, but, since then many new people have joined who might find it interesting.

This is a link to a recipe I developed while I was experimenting with bread making, my rice cooker; as well as conforming with how expensive Pizza is in Japan (seriously it is absolutely atrocious.)

All the ingredients are in Japanese, however, I wrote the instructions in English.
Give it a shot some time. It is a bit time consuming, but, one of my favorites.

Don't take it as an offense, but as an italian my only reply can be only "urgh".

    とにかく、日本で一枚のピザはいくらですか?日本へ二回行ったけど、当然にピザ食べなかったことがあったよ。"Eat your Kimchi"からピザにいつでもコーンを加えること聞いた。。。本当ですか。

Nevermind: allow me to retract my statement. It's actually a well made recipe. I wouldn't call it pizza, though.

As an Italian, in your case this might be better called "How to Make Ricecooker Bread Stuffed with Stuff". I suppose it is more in the calzone family.

Umm, depends where you get it. Many places like bakeries you can get a slice for about 220円, but a whole pie is usually about 1500 - 2000; and yes, mayo and corn are very common toppings.

Ok, that deserves a "urgh"... cooking mayo is a crime. Anyway, 2000 yen for a pizza is quite expensive.

Anyway, i'll try it. Thanks a lot.

Ya know man, idk about Italian Mayo, however, Japanese mayo is fucking amazing. It's just, different. It is more tangy than American mayo. I usually make tomato based sauce, but like in this recipe, it was kind of a tomato-curry pocket, which I found yummy.

I am sure your Pizza is absolutely fantastic, and the next time you have some, keep in mind how precious it is. Also, if you have a dough recipe, holler my way : )
(ところで, the corn thing is surprisingly okay. Corn, onion, and mayo is most common)
